Alcoa Captures Carbon

In an exciting step towards cleaner industries, Alcoa, the world’s second largest producer of aluminum, recently said it is starting to use a new technology to capture and render carbon dioxide emissions from its refineries.  This technology will keep CO2 emissions equivalent to the annual emissions of 17,500 cars from entering the atmosphere.  Read the article and look for the quote by NWF’s Kurt Zwally, Global Warming Solutions Manager.
