All my ideas are taken…

Literally as I was posting my blog last night, John McCain was announcing that he won’t support the Climate Security Act and he also won’t even be showing up to vote.  Basically unless there are tons of new subsidies for nuclear power he won’t support climate change legislation.  Now I was about to go on a rant but then I read this blog on Grist that just about said it all, so read this.

I also wanted to point out how terrific it is to see the sportsman community and the natural resource communities coming out with a strong and fairly unified voice in support of the Climate Security Act.  But just today, the Philadelphia Inquirer printed this oped by my colleague, Ed Perry, and the New Hampshire Union Leader printed this oped by Jameson French, a National Wildlife Action board member.  It’s good to see the Climate Security Act get so much media traction, but leave me with nothing to say…
