Here’s something that will help you smile. A Malibu (CA) based turtle rescue organization has instituted World Turtle Day — (It was May 23, 2009). American Tortoise Rescue, has found homes for more than 3,000 turtles and tortoises since its inception in 1990. Part of the 2009 celebration was a baby turtle release in Mexico.
