I am Grace’s Aunt and can tell you I am not surprised but am very proud of her efforts to help animals in the Gulf. Would love to see the Federation set up a Grace Fund for Gulf Animals that kids could contribute into, allowing them to feel less helpless. They are so affected by what they see on TV, it would give them a “kids way” to help and also teach our future generation of wildlife protectors.

This is so inspiring. There is much to be done, and it will require so many people and so much money. Americans are known for stepping up to tackle tragedy with generosity and determination. However, somehow we need to make sure BP and our government are doing all that is possible to STOP the oil from pouring into our Gulf. Why hasn’t it been declared a national disaster? Is our military involved yet – and shouldn’t they be if not? So many questions…
