What would happen if humans did not drill in the ocean floor? Would we still be having the earthquakes?
I agree that we need to switch to clean alternitives. Why can’t every Gas Station carry rechargable batteries the size of soda cans and when your electric car is out of juice you simply undo a latch and viola! Out roll the old. Then in go the fresh batteries and away you go faster than the guy pumping gas next to you. Smart stations could even put up solar panels for recharging.

No matter what is said, there is no doubt that BP is responsible for so much devistation that has gone on in this last several months and will continue to happen!! The long term effects are terrible!! BP should be held responsible!!!!

This is happening in America where it is believed that one can get any information with the snap of the fingers, suppose this spill had occurred in Nigeria’s Niger Delta, even Humans affected cannot and will not be accounted for. If only we realize that we and the Animals form the cycle of life we did be more careful.

It’s appalling that this even happened in the first place. Let alone how long it is taking for the clean, and the lack of responsibility shown by BP. I pray all those helpless animals are saved but as well see here the death toll is getting ridiculous. If they were human this would never have happened. We all have beating hearts why aren’t they treated with the same respect as us?

The system humanity has created will not cease. Man has yet to realize on the collective level that it is the earth’s environment holding all the cards for humanity and not the other way around. This is common sense to anyone (even those who tear this earth apart) yet it continues. We are a juggernaut of destruction. Collective thought will be our end. I believe we are too late to turn it around.
