I’m thankful every day for all things nonhuman. We are only a small part of a beautiful world. Nature is my solace. And I’m so glad your son loves bugs! Walking sticks have always been my absolute favorites!

Nice, Carla! I, too, am grateful my kids play outside with their neighborhood friends–and happily share discoveries. When I think back to my own childhood, outdoor adventures with pals ALWAYS come first to mind. Reinforces for me the importance of connecting with nature. The benefits are lasting….

I’m thankful that our neighborhood kids ring our bell and they all run around together out there. I’m thankful that my children love to share nature with their friends independently and how they run home with their observations / adventure stories.

I am thankful for any Autumn day when I can have lunch out in the sun, esp watching the Hummingbirds at their feeder.. clicking away while the tall branches of the yellow-leaved Cottonwood sway..
