"We must do everything possible to help fish and wildlife adapt to a warming world. Above all, we must find solutions to this grave threat (heat trapping carbon pollution) to our children's future." These words from the January NWF View are heartfelt, but empty. As long as our leaders refuse to acknowledge that overpopulation is the source of essentially all of our environmental problems, we will never solve the problem. It's politically incorrect to advocate stabilizing population sizes and then allowing population sizes to decline to sustainable levels. But as long as our leaders remain politically correct only a global disaster lies ahead, all brought on by overpopulation.
