Guess what he earth creaed the oil man may have unplugged an oil well but there are natural microbes in ocean water the feed on natural petrolium when there is excess oil those microbes reproduce to consume the natural petrolium . The beaches of southern Ca. and anywhere else there is oil have natural seepage out of rocks and out of the ground in and out of the water these microbes feed on the petrolium oraganisams this seepage is pretty massive on the scale of the area but it is natural and has been happening for millions of years do some research on this. The spill it self was tragic but after cleaning it up the earth will heal itself the only danger is the synthetic additive they put in the water to retain it . I DO NOT work for an oil company I am surfer who's life evolves around the ocean dayly, I have to be in it so I do my home work.

We still need to fully clean up this oil spill mess! I think that Corexit is probally toxic too! BP should be so ashamed of themselves on thieir half assed clean up effort! Poor sea life creatures, oil reefs, microorganisms, etc... all is permanately effected. So devastating still. The tar balls are coming up from the ocean to the sand still.
