Everyday hunters and anglers are reaching out to lawmakers on Capitol Hill. Sportsmen for Responsible Energy Development (SFRED) are speaking to their representatives in Congress to encourage the creation of laws and policies that respect the balance between energy development and protecting water, wildlife and the sportsman’s way of life in the Rocky Mountain West. SFRED is a coalition of more than five hundred organizations, including the National Wildlife Federation.

The men and women of SFRED will continue their grassroots efforts to protect the hunting and fishing heritage of the American West. You can also speak up for wildlife and responsible energy development by visiting NWF’s Action Center.
