This has nothing to do with this area of interest but I was reading the section on prairie dogs and came across the part where a scientist had said it is nonsense for a horse or cow to break their legs in a prairie dog hole. Well I would like to let you know that his comment was nonsense! Has he ever owned horses or cows in an area where there is prairie dog holes? Has he studied how fragile a horses leg really is? I have been around horses and other livestock my entire life and have experienced them breaking their legs personally, it happens and it is terrible! Thank you!
