They were always down there watering, weeding, planting, pruning…and then after months of patiently waiting, we had a garden full of beautiful flowers and “organic” produce. My mom taught me the difference between an annual and a perennial, and my father taught be how to eat a delicious snap pea right off the vine! Thanks for bringing back these wonderful memories and making me smile!

Additionally, I am looking into butterfly-friendly plants for So. Cal area as well. Isn’t it remarkable that lives that seem to have gone different directions find friendly commonalities once again?
