My name is Bruce and i live in Grants Pass, Oregon. I have been watching this for quite some time and honestly believe that there is no way to keep this fish out of our rivers totally. The one thing that i feel may be done to control them is make a marketable item out of them and provide a new source of income for the fisherman on these rivers that have been so devastated by the natural disasters that have plagued them. Put an open season on them, sell them to the fertilizer companies/catfood companies and have them netted year round, thereby creating inome for the fisherman and anyone else that wants to do it, new natural fish fertilizer and pet food item, also market to the asians that like to eat them, they are not bad when cooked properly and if enough people get involved they can control the level of these fish in the rivers and still maintain our natural habitat and native fish species. Everyone is making this way to hard, no poisons or anything that will be detrimental to the environment but good old straight on war with nets and rods, they are killing our oceans by over fishing just create a new resource and let them catch as many as they want.
