To Margaret Geiler, 1st post:

There are virtually no more watch dogs. Congress, owned by big oil, has cut the environmental agencies budgets to the point they are shells, only. They have also passed and continue to pass legislation which gives them the key to the city and a red carpet laid down for them.I agree, our beautiful country will look like some other countries which have been destroyed by these men who own the oil/gas companies so there empires grow while we and our country are poisoned.

I can't stand it.... I'm 68 now and may have another 20 healthy yrs left or more. But I truly, and I mean this, don't want to be here and watch as gov't really does anything to stop the advance of the fossil fuel industry across this country.

Fracking for natural gas fm Kansas thru TN, KY, up thru to PA where the problem with methane leaking into water and water lighting on fire in your kitchen sink when you light a match. 600 chemicals with water and sand are wormed thru tubes down thru rock and pressure blasted to break up the rock. Just saw another natural gas ad on MSNBC tonight praising the process and assuring complete safety of the process. Yet there are numerous reports of leaks into people's water supplies.
