Many studies and observations I know of point to significant phosphorus run off from agricultural sources. And wow! Blaming zebra mussels! Curious especially when you see the patterns of blooms that correlate to tributary run off after heavy rains. Heidelberg University near Toledo has been studying phosphorous run off as long as any organization. I suggest NWF connect with them before the next published report like this.]]></description>
