The squirrels do not care for pistachios!!…. and all this while we thought they can crack open the hardest nuts (me and my son, remembering all the stories about squirrels storing nuts or they love their favorite nut hunting expeditions!) 
Its been about three months now since we started watching them and enjoying every bit of the experience! 
Now they seem to look at us with an expression which feels like ‘whats on the menu today’? or ‘Nay, not bread crumbs again!!?” 
Ha ha, so we give them rice crispies, apricot kernels, almonds, corn and so on.. :)
