I’ve witnessed these beautiful animals being helicoptered in to replenish populations, with hunting season 2 weeks away. I’m not against hunting for the most part, but if these Bighorns are in trouble and populations are down 70%, how can sportsman be in the conversation? Should these animals not be protected at least until populations recover?
