To everyone who thinks making a mockingjay to be a good idea, why not consider leaving Nature alone. Man has enough impact on nature, usually not favorably. The idea of “making” a bird for our entertainment is not a good one. Birds as they are naturally are very entertaining. Get a good bird book and you might be surprised.

I hope mocking birds and bluejays will mate so we have mocking jays. They are such extraordinary fictional birds, plus I have a hunger games mocking jay pin, so that’s why the idea occurred to me.

The author takes things from real life and mythology and bends them to a point of being empowering, to enthrall the reader with a sense of a real possibility. But none of it really matters, it is all elements of entertainment in reality it is a dilution of the Japanese shonen form of manga at its core. The reality of civil strife could probably best and only be truly recanted by those who endured the civil war of the united states. Then again it probably has reached a point in our lives that it no longer matters what is fact and what is fiction.

Thanks! I never knew MockingBIRDS were real, I’ve never even heard of them! I am going to trick my coisin with this information: MockingJay- fictional- It can reapeat both human melodies and birdsong and plays a symbaletic role in The Hunger Games. MockingBird- real- it can mimic a varity of noises such as car alarms, Cats, and crickets. Both male and female can sing but the male sings louder and are more active often throughout the year than females.
