What happened to the overhead second camera position. It now shows a shot of the ground and water. There is a log with a platform attached to it that looks like it may have been a nest platform. Did the tree that the second camera was in fall?

I’m in awe of how tenderly the adults care for the chicks. Just watched a parent “cough up” a small fish, which the little ones are all pecking at.

Oh my gosh. That was way too cool. Got to see Mom (or Dad?) feeding the little guys. She just regurgitated a fish and the babies went crazy for it. It was very neat to see – and hear, they are vocalizing a lot esp when food is involved!

such an awesome privilege to see this! I love seeing Great Blue Herons when I visit the Virginia coast, where they are prolific. I’m amazed to see this nest and the babies and glad to see that #5 baby just arrived too!
