I found your report interesting for the degree to which any comment or statement from a representative of a wildlife conservation organization, avian ecologist, or biologist was missing. This seemed very similar to meetings in the Pacific Northwest where renewable energy advocates simply avoid or dismiss the fact that all projects have impacts of varying degrees, even wind. I have not followed up on the link to how offshore projects are supposed to be developed without "placing wildlife at risk", though I'm skeptical such an assertion could really be scientifically defended. Doing the math shows that the likelihood of wind development having any discernible effect on climate change, without also addressing the problem of human overpopulation and overconsumption is a popular myth.
