I have yet to hear any hard evidence to support the theory that human actions are the cause of climate change.

The climate is changing . . . true.

The planet has been experiencing extreme weather . . . true.

The climate has ALWAYS been changing . . . true.

The planet has ALWAYS experienced extreme weather . . . true.

I do believe that it is possible that carbon emissions are playing a part in the current climate change. The problem I have with the discussion is that man made climate change has been accepted as fact without conclusive proof. I also find it somewhat arrogant to suggest that we humans have the power to change or control the weather by simply passing legislation.

The ice age came and went without the aid of any SUV or coal plant.

I have great respect and appreciation for the environment. I find the natural beauty of this plant to be indescribable. As a wildlife photographer I am continually amazed by the beauty in nature. I drive a fuel efficient car, recycle what trash I can, and believe that we as a culture have a lot more work to do towards preserving and caring for the nature.

As much as i appreciate nature, there is something that I appreciate more . . . truth. And I find that the facts (which must be supported by truth) are missing from the "catastrophic man made climate change" debate.

Hope you are managing the effects of the hurricane and that it's impact on you was minimal

Respectfully,

Larry B
