You need to do your homework on one of the candidates who won, who was supposedly pro-wildlife. Sen. Jon Tester of Montana, is the sponsor of a senate bill that would allow importation of polar bears that were shot and killed in Canada.

Except that our President and Senate-majority have failed us as the American people in a multitude of other aspects. 16 trillion dollars in debt, 8% unemployment, those are problems that we will pass down to our children and grandchildren and they will have to deal with! I think we should keep in mind benefitting the next generation of our country before we start chasing after the President like he’s a rock star.

Our country’s reliance of fossil fuels has kept us on a dead end road, with a very near end in sight; projects like the Keystone XL Pipeline will only solidify this reliance. Conservation and protection of our environment is the key to our social and economic success. We need to crack down on our policy makers and make it known that environmental issues can no longer be put on the back burner.
