My green wish is for a fully green and peaceful sustainable world for all generations to come - Where everyone treats Mother Earth with love and reverence and any thought of destruction, polluting or exploiting natural resources for corporate or personal material gain is UNthinkable - and all human activities are based around long-term sustainability and the common good.

This is about the exact opposite of where we are right now, and would involve a major shift to green renewable technologies: solar, wind, geo-thermal, etc and complete abolition of destructive technologies such as fossil fuel and uranium extraction; mountaintop removal mining (especially!), etc, and instead focusing on huge conservation initiatives: tree planting; soil remediation; wilderness renewal and protections; enacting strict habitat protections and so forth.

Some of us have already adopted or else have never left this path and we need to see a much more concerted effort in this direction if we want to give those who follow us any chance of a viable future.

First, dream it, and them get on board to help make it happen!!

My #greenwish-President O, please value wildlife more than money and make our congress and senate accountable for their inaction. Have the guts to do the right thing and stop letting everyone ignore the fact that we are not being good stewards of our planet! Less talk, more do.
