It’s a BIG DAY! We can make a big difference to protect Washington’s wildlife and get more kids outdoors with nature through The Seattle Foundation’s GiveBIG online giving event—happening today only!

Today, May 6, 2014, GiveBIG sponsors will match all donations and help fund:

  • Overnight outdoor fun at Great American Backyard Campout events this summer, including events serving people with limited resources.
  • Opportunities for kids and families to explore nature at our Hike & Seek event at Seward Park.
  • Community and volunteer involvement in our Certified Wildlife Habitat® program, which helps create a network of places for wildlife and native plants to thrive in the Pacific Northwest.
  • Organizing efforts to protect wildlife and our environment from the threat of expanded coal mining and exports throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Now, more than ever, support is needed to help protect precious habitat for wildlife, inspire children to become future conservation stewards, and reconnect families with the natural world.
