Ryan is the Wildlife and Climate Safeguards Intern in NWF's National Advocacy Center. He graduated from the University of New England in 2012 with a degree in Environmental Science, and minors in Biology and Political Science. He has been involved in the environmental movement through field research on salt marshes, working with high school students in urban conservation work, and canvassing for local environmental issues. Climate change mitigation and adaptation are his primary passions.
We should keep these guys around, if only to avoid having to pick a new national bird.
