Julia Liljegren is the Regional Education Advocacy Manager at the National Wildlife Federation’s Great Lakes Regional Center based in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is responsible for developing state and regional strategies and initiatives to connect people – especially children – with nature, advocating for implementation of those strategies and initiatives, and developing collaborations among agencies and organizations to advance people’s abilities to connect with and understand the great outdoors.
