Maura Wood works on NWF’s Coastal Louisiana campaign to protect and restore Louisiana’s disappearing coastline. She engages with stakeholders to understand their concerns, share scientific information, address obstacles to progress, and move restoration projects through planning to construction. She is inspired by the beauty and complexity of the Mississippi River delta, the deltaic wetlands, and the people who live and work in them.
