Open Gondola of a Wind Turbine – Maintenance work

Wind Turbine

The Lillgrund project saw Siemens install 48 wind turbines of model SWT-2.3-93, each with a capacity of 2.3 megawatts (MW). The wind farm, with a total power of 110 megawatts, is operated by Vattenfall, a Swedish energy supplier, and officially came on line in June 2008. It produces sufficient electricity to supply 60,000 Swedish households.
