And when I see these bottlenose dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico, I can almost feel the water and imagine their joy in leaping through the waves together.

In the some areas of the Gulf of Mexico, dolphins are still dying in high numbers and suffering symptoms that suggest exposure to oil–two and a half years after BP’s Deepwater Horizon rig exploded and sent more than 200 million gallons of oil into the Gulf.
The fight is not over for dolphins in the Gulf of Mexico–and images like these remind me of why I fight for wildlife.
