NOAA to Assess Whether Melting Ice Endangers Seals

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration announced Wednesday that it will evaluate whether four kinds of seals inhabiting Alaska’s Bering Sea should be placed on the endangered species list because of melting sea ice.The article points out the difficulties resource managers have with adapting to climate change.
