IPCC Preparing to Release Synthesis Report

On Saturday the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change will release Climate Change 2007 – the IPCC Fourth Assessment Report.  This important synthesis report will summarize the science, impacts, and solutions of climate change and will serve as important tool for policy makers.

Take a look at this article on the release of the synthesis report:  UN Climate Panel Debates Major Risks from Global Warming"   I find it more than troubling that our government is trying to hide the fact that we are headed to "abrupt and irreversible climate changes and impacts" without a new policy direction.  Withholding vital information like this needs to be challenged at every level.
