Hunters, anglers target Lieberman-Warner fence-sitters

NWF held a press conference announcing the more than 670 sportsmen groups that signed onto a letter calling for funding for protection of wildlife from global warming and to pass legislation that includes a 2 percent per year reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. We brought a few dozen hunters and anglers to Washington DC to share the letter and their views on global warming with Congress.  We also ran a full page ad in USA today highlighting the groups calling for action.
