A Cajun Call for Clean Energy

My rain gear and I headed down Pennsylvania Ave. this afternoon to check out a group of activists who rallied in front of the White House in support of clean energy.

This past weekend, about 200 residents from the New Orleans area signed a huge banner with bold personal messages to express deep concern over America's continuing addiction to oil.

Senators John Kerry (D-MA) and Joseph Lieberman (I-CT) are set to unveil Senate climate and clean energy legislation tomorrow. A new poll shows that 61 percent of 2010 voters support a bill that will “limit pollution, invest in domestic energy sources and encourage companies to use and develop clean energy”.
