2013 People’s Choice Award Winner

Congratulations to our 2013 People’s Choice Award winner, Jennifer Kohlman, whose photo of a lion received over 2,600 votes in the public voting final round! Also, a big “thank you” to everyone who shared their photos in our 43rd annual National Wildlife Photo Contest.

While working on a school documentary project, Jennifer waited for just the right moment to snap this photo of a lion.  “It took a while but finally, I was engaged in this staring contest,” she says.

Jennifer has won a $500 gift certificate from Borrow Lenses and her photo will appear in the December 2013/January 2014 issue of National Wildlife magazine alongside judged winners.
