Celebrating 10 Years of Eco-Schools USA
What a decade! Over the last 10 years, shared stories of success from students and educators have highlighted the positive impacts from the National Wildlife Federation’s Eco-Schools USA program. Beyond the metrics that evidence substantial cost and carbon savings, along with beneficial academic outcomes and creation of new wildlife habitat, each school has a story that demonstrates how weaving environmental literacy into the curriculum and student experience supports student leadership and positive outcomes for the planet.
As we begin to wrap up the Eco-Schools USA 10 year celebration, and look toward the next 10 years and beyond, take a minute to absorb our story through our Eco-Schools USA timeline, which celebrates program milestones over the last decade and shares the impact of our work across the country.
