According to a Washington Post-ABC News poll

of Americans believe in global warming and support efforts to reduce carbon pollution.
The poll's findings show that 72 percent of respondents think
global warming is happening, with 55 percent feeling the U.S. should
curb emissions and move to mitigate their effects regardless of other
