BOO-tiful Backyard Visitor: Spider

Each week our Certified Wildlife Habitat community on Facebook celebrates “Wildlife Wednesday” by posting an image of a garden visitor. Because the latest photo received such an enthusiastic response, I wanted to share it with a wider audience. Perhaps tonight when the full moon is aglow, you’ll spot a spectacular spider (or other fantastic critter) of your own. Happy wildlife-watching!
“I was trying to capture a good photo of a particularly bright moon,” writes the California-based photographer. “In the dark I almost ran face first into this spider. It was late October, and this made a good Halloween shot with the spider in the foreground and the moon behind it.”
