Trick or Treat: What do you know about bats?

This Week in NWF History

Happy Halloween! In honor of the holiday, we’re celebrating one of its most common symbols, bats. About 40 bat species live in the United States and Canada, and the National Wildlife Federation has worked for years to help protect them and educate folks about their benefits to the environment and economy.

Can you guess which bat fact is a trick (false) or treat (true)?

Since 1936, the National Wildlife Federation has worked to conserve the nation’s wildlife and wild places. As part of our 80th anniversary celebration, we are recognizing important moments in our history that continue to make an impact today.
