We have much more to do and your continued support is needed now more than ever.
Thank a Wildlife Champion Today
You did it! We started National Wildlife Week with a challenge to add 10 new supporters in the House of Representatives for the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act. We’re thrilled to report the list has swelled from 11 to 35 Congressional representatives standing up as cosponsors. That’s fantastic progress toward passage of a bill that will be a lifesaver for a third of America’s wildlife—we have thousands of species at risk.
Let’s all give a special round of applause to Rep. Jeff Fortenberry of Nebraska and Rep. Debbie Dingell of Michigan for introducing this pro-wildlife legislation.
To put a wild face on the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act, we’ve featured one species at risk for the states that have cosponsors so far. Their future is already looking up—thanks to our growing list of #wildlifechampions.

Wildlife can’t speak out in the halls of Congress. Instead, we have to speak up for species in trouble, celebrate every wildlife champion, and step up to find more cosponsors for the Recovering America’s Wildlife Act.
TAKE ACTION for species in trouble
